KINESIOLOGY

Kinesiology works with the deep emotional roots of problem areas in people’s lives – those areas where we feel stuck, our lives and potential seem inhibited, and our enjoyment of life minimised - where true happiness, contentment, and overall good health seem to elude us. Emotional issues from our past can (and often do) affect our present day lives in a most profound way.

But when we’re unable to live our lives fully and happily, unable to accept, respect or love ourselves; or when it’s difficult to let go, to trust, excel, love, or find peace of mind; when creating and enjoying good health or loving relationships seems out of reach - Kinesiology can really help!

This Kinesiology approach to wellbeing is very gentle, non-invasive, effective and safe.
It brings about a strong awareness of the moment-to-moment choices we can make. In turn this puts us firmly in ‘the driver’s seat’ to creating and experiencing the life we truly wish to live.

There are many and varied types of Kinesiology; the common denominator with all being the use of muscle testing, as the basis for the work. Muscle testing is simply the application of light pressure to a muscle (usually an arm muscle), and the gauging of the muscle’s response. This response in effect serves as a biofeedback from the client to the Kinesiologist. A person’s body instinctively knows what it needs to bring itself back ‘into balance’, into a state of absolute wellbeing. So the body is the perfect source, and muscle testing the perfect tool.

Muscle testing helps determine the underlying root causes which block or inhibit a person’s natural ability to heal (on an emotional, physical or mental level). It also helps in identifying the priority needs which can assist in truly healing and transforming a person’s life.

Through the use of muscle testing a Kinesiologist can unlock reactive behavioral patterns (stemming from past experiences) and defuse the emotional stress attached to these experiences (the roots of which often lie at a subconscious level). And if we’re not consciously aware of where the origins of our behaviours come from, we’re not easily able to change those behaviours. This is where muscle testing and Kinesiology is invaluable.
